2. Custom Event Tracking

To measure performance and track tool usage, I record the following generic events:

• image_processed: Triggered when an image has finished background removal, recording whether the process was a success or error, the approximate file size, and the file name.

Note: The actual image data, binary content, pixels, and preview links are never sent to Google Analytics or any server. They remain in your browser's temporary memory (Blob URL) and are discarded when you clear the queue or close the tab.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

I use cookies and local browser storage to keep the app working smoothly:

• Cookies: Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish unique users and sessions. You can opt-out of cookies by using browser extensions (like the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on) or by disabling cookies in your browser settings.
• Local Storage: We use local storage solely to store your preference for theme (dark mode or light mode).
